Florida Theatre Jacksonville Customers Reviews
Amazing show, horrible logistics
Ali was amazing as expected.
BUT...
We arrived at about 6:45pm and saw lines around the corner to get in to the venue. No direction, packed, until finally someone said go to another set of lines - we were foolish enough to do this and found the same situation on the other side of the building. After about 20minutes of waiting outside, we finally got in to realize that the main delay was locking people's phones up. Understand why, however, they then needed to copy from our e-tickets our seat numbers on to little post-it notes - if you're going to do this, only print tickets, don't make them e-tickets in the first place. Once we were finally in, we waited in another line to get to our seats - when we finally made it to the front, we were told we needed to enter at another door. Finally got in, but missed a good portion of the opener.
Not to mention, the venue has absolutely horrible sight-lines if you're not up close.
Really disappointing, and not in the mood you'd want people to be in for a comedy show.
